Carolyn---when I reached for the light this morning a ladybug landed on my hand, and I knew that you would always be with us. In the last email you sent me you told me not to worry about my grandson,Nate, because "God will watch over and take care of him." I know you are there now,too; watching over us just like you always have in your soft, non- assuming way. I pray for Beth and Natalie because they will miss you the most, but your legacy will live on with them. They are both fine, strong young women of whom you were deeply proud. I know that, because you told me. We were talking about a quote I had on my desk "My life is my message." ---Gandhi. Your message to all who had the blessings of knowing and working with you was one of compassion, deep respect for each other, and above all else--love your family. I will miss our quiet chats and hearing you call us "Miss Ladybug." Every time I see one I will think of you.
